On June 16, 2025, the campus of Huairou No. 2 High School, a partner school in the Minority Foreign Language Program of Beijing Broaden & Top-Trans Communication Center (BTC), was transformed into a sea of multicultural integration, marking the official launch of the Campus Multicultural Month, The Multicultural Month is a traditional event of Huairou No. 2 High School, which has been held consecutively for the 11th time. The biggest highlight of this year's event is the display of multilingual and cultural activities. The songs and dramas carefully rehearsed by teachers and students of Japanese and Russian have become the highlights of the whole event, connecting rich cultural connotations, comprehensively demonstrating students' international vision and cultural literacy, and allowing the unique charm of different countries to bloom with brilliant and integrated spirits on the campus.

As an important calling card of teaching characteristics, since BTC launched the Minority Foreign Language Program cooperation with Huairou No. 2 High School last year, it has quickly won the favor of teachers and students with systematic courses and professional services. Spurred on by the Japanese and Russian teachers at our center, the students were filled with enthusiasm for the performances and actively signed up to participate in the preparations.The exhibition area layout was infused with cross-cultural ingenuity, and the program arrangements embodied collective wisdom. Over the past month or so, the Minority Foreign Language teachers have sacrificed their rest time, working with the students to repeatedly polish the details of pronunciation and providing careful guidance throughout the process—from script adaptation to pronunciation correction. With professionalism and patience, they have built a bridge for the students to showcase their cultural talents.
整台表演中全校师生奉献的节目亮点频出:英文话剧《An old man trying to move the mountains》以流畅的英文传递传统智慧,通过跨文化改编展现中西文化交融;《猜猜我有多爱你》英文配音细腻还原了亲子温情;《唐探》配音片段精准拿捏悬疑张力。此外,单人英文朗读《The River and the Swam》以声传情;英文歌曲《Dancing with your ghost》用旋律点燃全场;英文演绎古典名著《西游记片段》让观众感受东方神话的国际表达方式。
Throughout the entire performance, the programs presented by teachers and students of the school were filled with brilliant highlights: The English drama An Old Man Trying to Move the Mountains conveyed traditional wisdom through fluent English, showcasing the integration of Chinese and Westerncultures through cross-cultural adaptation; The English dubbing of Guess How Much I Love You exquisitely restored the warmth between parents and children; The dubbing clip from Detective Chinatown accurately captured the suspenseful tension. On the day of the event, the Japanese language programs attracted much attention. The students' Japanese drama Hetalia showcased the collision and integration of different cultures in a humorous and witty manner, drawing bursts of laughter and warm applause from the audience. Through vivid lines and exaggerated performances, it cleverly conveyed the characteristics of foreign cultures. Immediately after, the Japanese short play Snow White was more delicate and touching. Through this classic fairy tale, the students presented the beauty and rhythm of the Japanese language, demonstrating the richness and delicacy of Japanese expression. The actors' dedicated performances and exquisite costumes and props made the audience feel as if they were in a pure fairy-tale world, experiencing an unforgettable cross-cultural journey.
俄语小语种节目同样赢得了广泛的瞩目和赞誉。同学们表演的俄语短剧《灰姑娘》精彩地展示了俄语的独特魅力和语音之美,通过丰富的剧情和角色刻画,让观众感受到了俄罗斯文化的深厚底蕴和艺术魅力。演员们通过流利的俄语情感表达,充分展现了他们的语言技能,让观众沉浸在一个充满异国情调的文化氛围中。这场演出不仅为参与者提供了一个展示自我才华的舞台,也让观众加深了对不同文化的理解和尊重。
The Russian language programs also gained widespread attention and praise. The Russian short play Cinderella performed by the students brilliantly showcased the unique charm and phonetic beauty of the Russian language.
